In our seven-plus years of existence, we Faux Frenchmen have been asked to provide music for numerous Cincinnati and National events.

We’ve played the tenth, eleventh, and twelfth annual Jazz at Chautauqua Festivals in New York State, the 2009 Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival, the International Association of Jazz Record Collectors Convention, Xavier University’s Masters of Swing Concert Series, the Cincinnati World Music Festival, Midpoint Music Festival, The Little Chicago Jazz Society Concerts, Tallstacks 2006, the Devou Park Coffee Cup Concert series, The Westwood Presbyterian Church Concert series, Cincinnati's Fringe Festival, the Mercantile Library Concert Series, The Hood is Bigger Than You Think Tour, numerous official City of Cincinnati events, the Newport Ky. Jazz Festival, the Batesville Indiana Library concert series, LPK Acoustic Lunch, the ATP professional tennis tournament, and many others.  We’ve been featured on Michael Johnathon's Woodsongs Old Time Radio Hour and WNKU’s award-winning Studio 89 radio and television broadcasts, and we've opened concerts for Dan Hicks and his Hot Licks, Hot Buttered Rum, British folkies Tanna, and the Hot Club of Nashville.

Clients for private, corporate and charitable events include Advantec, Cincinnati Freedom Center (Quincy Jones sighting!), the Cincinnati Museum of Art, The Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, Cincinnati Opera and Ballet, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, WNKU-FM, Christ Hospital, University Hospital, Tiffany’s, The United Way, the Junior League of Cincinnati, Weston Art Gallery, MaiFest, the Cincinnati Contemporary Arts Center, Melody Sawyer Richardson, Kings and River Center Lexus, and Spring Grove Cemetery (yup!). 

We've recorded music for Newport Aquarium's television ads and even a video game or two, and our original music was featured in the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company's production of "All's Well That Ends Well" in September of 2009.

We've received five consecutive Cincinnati Entertainment Award nominations, winning the CEA in the "Best Jazz" category in 2008.  "Oblivion" was nominated for  CEA "Album of the Year" in 2008.  Both our CDs have received Cincinnati City Beat magazine's "albums of the year" distinction.

We've played numerous wedding ceremonies and receptions, holiday, birthday and retirement parties, anniversaries, bar mitzvahs, art openings, proposals of marriage, and political and charitable fundraisers including the Alzheimer's Association's "Hail to the Chefs."

   We celebrate Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli’s birthdays each January by playing live on WNKU’s "Music with Brian O’D" show.

Prospective clients are invited to hear us at Allyn's Cafe in Columbia Tusculum every Monday from 6:30-9pm, Sitwell's Cafe in Clifton every Wednesday from 7 to 9:30pm, or hear excerpts on our website's music page.
