Tink's Mondays, including......

We’re in our sixth year of Monday FakeFrancoFreneticism at Tink’s Café,  3410 Telford Avenue in Clifton, near Graeter's and the Esquire Theatre. We WILL be playing the evening of Memorial Day, May 26, at the usual 6:30-pm time.  Great food, rarely an authentic Frenchman or gypsy within miles.

Airwaved

We've begun tracking for our second CD release, which we hope to be ready this autumn.  Our first CD has received airplay on WNKU-FM, Highland Heights Ky., WUKY in Lexington, and on WMKV's "Friction," hosted by the erudite Dave Bartholomew.  It features the eclectic mix of 'thirties jazz, unexpected pop gems, and cartoon music our fans and friends know from our live performances.  Available at Shake It Records in Northside, Everybody's Records in Pleasant Ridge, Cincinnati area Joseph Beth and Barnes and Noble stores, Wizard's, Tink's Cafe in Clifton, all of our live shows, and online at http://cdbaby.com/cd/fauxfrenchmen

It's an Horror Just to Be Nominated....

Our third Cincinnati Entertainment Awards nomination in the "Best Jazz" category has gone the way of its two predecessors, spinning groundward in flames for the second consecutive year to the Blue Wisp Big Band.  A jealous, begrudging "congrats" to Baron Von Ohlen and his Upstart Colleagues.  This Aggression Will Not Stand, Man ........
